Thank you to everyone that expressed an interest in running for the three offices open this election cycle, and to everyone who took the time to vote this year. Ultimately, there were eight named candidates on the Division 50 ballot, all well qualified. One hundred and eighty-one votes were cast, equivalent to 29% of the Division’s voting membership. Congratulations to our newly elected officers!

Aaron Weiner is our new President-Elect.
Virginia Ann Waldorf was elected APA Council Representative.
Linda Rinehart was elected Secretary.
Jaye Derrick was elected Treasurer.
Mary Beth Miller is our new Member-at-Large Early Career Psychologist.
Brandon Bergman was elected Member-at-Large Science.

Running for office is one way to give back to the field and increase your visibility at the national level. Later this year, we will be looking to fill the positions of president-elect and Member at Large (Practice).
