SoAP does not currently maintain its own journal. It did, however, create the now APA-level journal, Psychology of Addictive Behaviors (PAB). Through many years of hard work by dedicated psychologists in the field of addiction, PAB is now known as a highly regarded peer-reviewed journal. The journal is published in March, June, September, and December each year. It features original articles on the psychological aspects of addictive behaviors, including alcohol and alcoholism, drug use and abuse, eating disorders, smoking and nicotine addiction, and other addictive behaviors. Additionally, special issues on focused topics in addiction are sometimes offered. For more information on PAB, please visit http://www.apa.org/journals/adb/.
Members of SoAP receive a copy of the journal as part of their membership.
