Wholeview Wellness Psychological Services, PLLC is a group psychotherapy practice and an OASAS licensed program that provides addiction and psychological services in New York, NY. This practice is seeking psychologists who are experts in the provision of individual, group, couples, and family treatment using evidence-based interventions for substance use disorders and co-occurring psychological disorders (e.g., trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, chronic pain, personality disorders). Our program provides exceptional care for people struggling with alcohol and substance use and we are seeking team members who share our passion!
Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments
Craft plans for care in collaboration with patients
Conduct individual, group, couples and family psychotherapy using evidence-based practices
Include family members and supportive significant others in treatment sessions
Coordinate psychological services with other service providers
Participates in staff training, program development, and program evaluation, with emphasis on creating an environment conducive to patient’s needs
Participate in group and individual supervision to ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices
Qualifications
Education: PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology and NYS License
Experience: 3 years of treatment of substance use disorders
Skills:
Expertise in multiple evidence-based practices - Motivational Interviewing/MET, CBT, DBT, CRA, CRAFT, SET, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, TF-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy
Expertise in couples and family therapy a plus
Experience providing LGBTQ affirming therapy
Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to provide care on some weekends or evenings
