Substance Use Disorders and Addictions track at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences APA accredited internship

We are thrilled to announce a new Substance Use Disorders and Addictions track within the UNM Health Science Center predoctoral internship program that includes a research rotation at the Center on Alcohol, Substance use, And Addictions (CASAA). Interns in this track will have the opportunity to engage up to 20% of their time in scholarly work, including contributing to research projects, under the mentorship of the CASAA faculty.

 

As noted in the attached brochure, “the Substance Use Disorders and Addictions Track is designed to provide generalist training in the practice of clinical psychology while developing specialized skills for assessment and intervention with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.”

 

Applications must be submitted via the AAPI online portal as part of the APPIC process. There is one position for the SUD track (match #143617).
