Description: Boots on the Ground will explore, the power of innovative, community-based approaches to address opioid and other substance use disorders. The summit will showcase efforts from across the country, each designed to counteract the stigma and promote racial health equity. Speakers will share the stories of their programs, highlighting factors that both enable and challenge their successes, including funding, partners, policies, and evaluation. Facilitated panel and breakout sessions will provide for additional insights and synthesis.
Resources are available for those struggling with addiction and numerous effective treatments exist. Whether you are looking for help for yourself or a loved one, we encourage you to seek out help.
