We are recruiting a full-time Staff Psychologist (GS-11/13) or Social Worker (GS-9/11) to join our Addiction Treatment Programs (ATP) in Columbia, Missouri. The ATP team provides excellent residential and outpatient team-based care, including full psychological assessment, testing, treatment planning, and intervention services to Veterans with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. We have a 14-bed Psychosocial Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program that provides treatment episodes of up to six weeks in duration, focusing on third-wave behavioral approaches to addiction recovery. Clinical services emphasize evidence-based psychotherapies, including Contingency Management for treatment of stimulant use disorder, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders (CBT-SUD), and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention. Well-qualified candidates will have clinical experience working with individuals with substance use disorders in residential and outpatient treatment settings. Both Psychologist and Social Worker positions are subject to a Special Salary Rate. EDRP is also authorized for this position, and flexible work schedules are available.
