The continuing interim Division 50 Fellows Chair encourages you to consider applying for Fellow status in the Society of Addiction Psychology (Division 50) for the upcoming cycle (Fellow status would start January 1, 2027). Achieving Fellow status is a prestigious recognition that honors members who have made exceptional contributions in addiction psychology. It acknowledges work that has had a national impact—beyond local or regional contributions—advancing our field significantly.
If your work has demonstrated impact and outstanding contributions in addiction psychology, she highly encourages you to review the Fellow criteria and consider applying. This is a wonderful opportunity to be recognized for the national influence of your contributions and to further our shared commitment to advancing addiction psychology.
The online portal is open and our division will consider applications through January 9th 2026 (important note, you will see on website that the portal says the deadline is February 10th…that is the date that the committee has to get their recommendations to Council, so please adhere to the Div 50 internal deadline, so that the fellows committee has time to conduct their reviews and put forth their nominations for the 2027 Fellows cycle.
