Updated Teaching Addiction Syllabi

News Date: Thursday, October 29, 2020 - 09:30

COVID-19 has required many shifts in education and training. Many faculty and trainers have had to modify their classes to fit with alternate methods of instruction such as fully online or hybrid classes. Because of these shifts the Teaching Addiction Psychology subcommittee of the Division 50 Committee on Education and Training is seeking addiction education syllabi you might have modified in response to COVID-19. If you recently revised your class/syllabus in response to COVID-19 and would like to share your syllabus through our teaching addiction repository please email it to Dr. Michael Madson directly at Michael.madson@usm.edu. Along with your syllabus, please include the following information:

  1. Is this a revision of a syllabus you submitted previously?
  2. Is this a graduate or undergraduate class?
  3. If a graduate class, for what level is it – Master’s, Doctoral, both?
  4. If an undergraduate class, for what level is it – upper level (junior/senior) or lower level (freshmen/sophomore)?
  5. How many credits is the course?

Additionally, if there are any other resources for teaching addiction psychology that you would like to see or share, please email Dr. Michael Madson to let the committee know.
