Invitation: FDA information session on stimulant use disorder research funding

The US Food and Drug Administration’s Controlled Substances Program is holding a virtual information session on research funding to better understand the trajectory of stimulant use disorder.

During the session, we will provide information about FDA’s recent activities regarding prescription stimulant non-medical use and stimulant use disorder, and we will share how the upcoming research funding opportunity fits into our work. We will also give a brief overview of the Controlled Substances Program, which aims to promote the public health by minimizing risks associated with problematic use of controlled substances while enabling appropriate access for medical use.

The session will take place on Tuesday, November 24th at 1pm ET. RSVPs will be accepted to on a first-come, first-served basis no later than Sunday, November 22nd. If you are unable to attend but would like to learn more, please email to receive a recap email after the information session.
