There is an opening for a 20 hour (0.5 FTE) a week outpatient position for a PhD/PsyD level Clinical Psychologist with experience in treatment of youth with mental health and substance use. Applicants are preferred if they have experience in working with adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders; however, training can be provided in substance use to those in need of additional skills. Solid assessment, diagnostic, and therapy skills with CBT/DBT/ACT is also preferable as well as experience working with groups. The clinic provides assessment, brief/motivational intervention, group and individual psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based practices, such as CBT and/or DBT, consultation, and treatment planning for patients with psychoactive substance abuse disorders with or without co-occurring disorders, and their families. The program provides CRAFT training to parents of youth involved. This therapist will also consult with medical staff around management of the substance dependent patient in various clinic services.
This position is part time (20 hours) and is located on the main campus of Massachusetts General Hospital. This position reports to the Clinical Director.

There maybe additional hours within the department if a FT position is sought.
