Caron Treatment Center in Wernersville, PA Seeking to Fill Postdoctoral Fellow Position

Caron Treatment Centers is internationally recognized for excellence in Behavioral Health and Addictions treatment for 60 years. Caron Treatment Centers has an exciting opportunity in residential treatment for a Post-Doctoral Fellow.

 

Caron is unique in our dedication to providing high quality psychological services to clients with co-occurring mental health issues. Caron’s clients have primary addiction disorders, but most also experience co-occurring mental health issues that are the focus of treatment by the Psychological Services Department. The Psychology Department at Caron consists of 9 full-time psychologists and two post-doctoral fellows. At Caron, we treat clients aged 14 through 90 with gender-specific and age-specific units and programming. There are opportunities to provide psychological testing services, trauma/PTSD treatment and evidence-based groups for co-occurring disorders. The position provides the required two hours of clinical supervision each week. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

The ideal applicant would be enthusiastic and have a desire to participate fully in a collaborative and creative treatment environment with psychologists, physicians, nurses, and, behavioral health therapists. We prefer applicants with an interest in or experience/training in evidence-based PTSD and trauma treatment and/or psychological testing. We are looking for someone who values and uses evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT and 3rd Wave CBT treatments (DBT, ACT, MBSR/MBRP). Must have completed all requirements of doctoral degree by start date.
